| Remove
the hose from the GW9500 or GW8000 box and lay it out
in the sun to straighten |

Make
sure: you have the following items:
GW9500
or GW8000 cleaner head, one 20 ft. hose, one 4 ft. hose
and one 8 ft. hose, swivel assembley, vaccum regulator
w/2 caps and reducer cone.

|
|
Clean
and backwash your filter system, skimmer and pump strainer
basket. Also for season opening make sure you clean
all dirt and debris from your pool manually first before
using the GW9500 or GW8000 automatic pool cleaner.
Start
your pool pump

|
|
Decide
on the vacuum connection you'll use (skimmer or dedicated
wall fitting) and adjust your pump valves so that it
draws all it's water from that source.
Close
the main drain

 |
|
|
| Insert
the swivel assembley into the GW9500 or GW8000 automatic
pool cleaner body and twis 1/4 turn clockwise to lock. |
|
|
|
|
Hose
must be at least 4' longer than longest stretch from
vacuum source to far side or pool
Do
not cut hose!

 |
|
|
| Connect
the 24' hose to swivel assembly on the cleaner and connect
the other end to vacuum regulator and if necessary, to
reducer cone, or to 8 ft. extension hose. |

|
| Fill
cleaner and hose with water, connect hose to skimmer or
wall fitting. Gently drop the cleaner into the deep end
of the pool. |
