Hayward ColorLogic™ 4.0 Spa Light
The new Hayward ColorLogic™ spa light is designed to fit most spas, hotubs and jacuzzis and comes with a patented Chromacore technology which combines a microprocessor with the brightest and longest performing LEDs in the industry to deliver high intensity and extensive selection of brilliant color combinations.
Why LED lighting? LED ligting offers decisive advantages over incandecent bulbs, halogen lights and metal halide lighting typically utilized in the swimming pool industry. TRaditional ligting technology sends electricity through a thin somewhat fragile filament to produce light. Only 10% of that electricity actually contributes to the illumination process - whereas LED's produce light with semiconductor technology, with little electricity wasted in the process. LED lights are extremely ennergy-efficient, generate very little heat, have no bulbs to replace, last longer and require almost no maintenance.
