Why LED lighting? LED ligting offers decisive advantages over incandecent bulbs, halogen lights and metal halide lighting typically utilized in the swimming pool industry. TRaditional ligting technology sends electricity through a thin somewhat fragile filament to produce light. Only 10% of that electricity actually contributes to the illumination process - whereas LED's produce light with semiconductor technology, with little electricity wasted in the process.
