Granular Black Algae Treatment Formula

99 % Trichloro-Triazinetrione granular product kills black algae in white plaster pools. Not for use in vinyl, fiberglass or painted pools. Brush algae with stainless steel brush, then pour treatment directly over growth. Dosage Up to 1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of pool water.

Directions For Use: It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with it's labeling. Read entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions.

Ensure all equipment is working properly. Backwash the filter system following manufacturer's directions. Adjust pH to between 7.2 - 7.6. In chlorinated systems, add stabilized to establish a minimum stabilizer level of 30 - 40 PPM to reduce the degrading effects of sunlight upon the chlorine residual. Check for metals and if present add a stain and scale inhibitor to prevent staining of pool surface due to metals. Adjust chlorine residual to 1 - 3 PPM. When using other products as outlined in directions for this product, always follow directions on those products.

Before using this product shutoff pump and brush all surface clinging algae. Wait four hours for the water to become stationary before product application. At night or when the pool is not in use, broadcast this product directly into the water in the areas of heaviest algae growth. Use 2 albs. of this product per 10,000 gallons for medium to heavy algae growth, 1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of water for light algae growth. Twelve to twenty four hours after treatment turn pump on and vacuum algae through the filter. Brush any remaining algae and clean/backwash filter. If algae is still visible repeat the treatment. Reentry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 3 PPM chlorine due to risk of body injury.

Storage and Disposal: Keep this product dry in original tightly closed container when not in use. Store in cool, dry, well ventilated area. Do not contaminate food or feed by storage or disposal. Do not reuse container, but place in trash collection. Rinse thoroughly before discarding in trash.

Precautionary statements: Hazards to humans and domestic animals, harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear goggles or safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling this product. Wash Thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
