FOR
ABOVE-GROUND POOLS AND OUTDOOR USE ONLY
|
|
The
Hayward H100 Induced Draft above-ground with electronic
direct spark ignition system and energy-efficient
FireTile lined combustion chamber is an ideal choice
for heating above-ground pools. The H100ID1 comes
in 100,000 BTU natural gas version and the H100IDP1
comes in 100,000 BTU propane version. The table
below shows different "Pool Size" types
and the corrosponding temperature rise when using
the Hayward Induced draft above-ground pool heater.
It is highly recommended that your Hayward above-ground
pool heater be used in conjuction with a solar blanket
to maximize your heating efficiency. |

Heater
Selection for
Spa or Hot Tub
|
| Determine
your spa capacity in gallons (surface area x average depth
x 7.5) |
|
You
may select the Hayward Induced Draft 100,000 BTU pool/spa
heater or the H-Series Heaters for Spas / Hot Tubs.
The
reference table below lists the time time required in
minutes to raise the temperature of the spa/hot tub
by 30 degrees Farenheit. Locate in the table below the
spa/hot tub size in gallons. Select the desired time
to raise the spa/hot tub temperature 30 degrees Farenheit,
read to the left and select the appropriate H-Series
model.
This
guide can be adjusted for other temperature rises. For
example, if you desire a 15 degrees Farenheit increase
in temperature, simply devide the time for 30 degrees
Farenheit by a ratio of 30/15 or 2.
|
| Note:
Heat losses and/of heat absorbed by spa wall or other
objects will add to the time is take the spa to heat up. |
| Spa
sizing is based on an insulated and covered spa. Always
cover your spa or hot tub when not in use to minimize
heat loss and evaporation. |
