Hayward Low NOX Induced Draft Pool Heater features a patent pending Finn Plate™ heat exchanger for constant heat exchange, state-of-the-art premix burners for environmentally friendly Low NOx outputs, hot surface ignition for reliable fire up, and an advanced L.E.D digital control panel for simple programming of pool temperature.

It also includes and induced draft system that constantly moves air through the combustion chamber a a precise flow rate. As a result, all outside weather variables that can affect the heating performance, such as wind conditions, are eliminated - without having to install a high wind stack.

NOTE: The Hayward IDL2 Series of heaters meet the NOx Emission standards set by the California South Coast Quality Air Management Commission for 2001 and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission Code.

IDL2 H-series Pool Heater Features:

New Reliable, Durable Nitride Igniter: the Hayward IDL2 pool heater comes with the industry's first high-end, Silicon-Nitride (SiNi) ignitor. Silicon-Nitride ignitor eliminates concerns about condensation, chemicals, dirt or oily fingers shortening ignitor life or causing ignitor failure. With it's tungsten heating element sandwiched between two layers of Silicon-Nitride insulators, the new IDL2 ignitor's design is sturdier and much more forgiving to mishandling.

New circuit boards and codecs: the IDL2 pool heater comes with three integrated but separate circuit boards: Fuse board, Display Board and Ignition Control Board. With advanced diagnostics and startup Codecs the IDL2 has more intelligent monitoring of the heater operation and status. The revisable ribbon cables that can be plug either way ensure that circuit boards are not damaged from improper wiring.

Dual Voltage Transformer and Boards: the IDL2 pool heater is by far the easiest to install on the market. All it takes to wire the IDL2 heater to the correct voltage setting is to plug-in the correct AC plug (120 volts or 240 volts) into the Fuse Board's 4-pin female connector. The power board circuit board is protected with replaceable fuses which prevents costly transformer or circuit board replacements.

New Advanced Flame Sensor: an integral safety feature in every Hayward IDL2 series pool heater which ensures an automatic shutdown of gas flow anytime a live flame cannot be verified by sensor.

Easy-to-read Digital temperature read-outs, with the ability to easily set the temperature and monitor system diagnostics, to create the most enjoyable pool environment possible. All H-series electronic pool heaters including Low NoX pool heater come with digital control panel.
