Pentair 261047 Backwash Valve

This valve is constructed of high quality corrosion resistant material and when installed, operated and maintained in accordance to the manufacturer instructions, your valve will provide years of trouble-free operation. The Pentair 261047 backwash valve consist of:

A.) A stationary Valve Body - this permanently assembled unit connects to the filter as well as the pump, return to pool and backwash plumbing lines. There is a central bore that is carefully produced to exacting size and finish requirement.

B.) A Movable Piston Assembly - This section contains a cap assembly that is secured to the valve body by two screws and a movable shaft and handle assembly that may be actuated in order to allow backwashing of the pool filter.
